Instruction specifics:
- Tools required and recommended
- Base is built with treated 4’’x 4’’ posts, treated double 2’’x 6’’ beams and treated 2’’x 6’’ frame for decking
- Flooring has 3/4’’ plywood and calibrated 2’’x 8’’ joists for R28 insulation
(can be changed to 2’’x 10’’ framing to install R40 insulation) - Walls have calibrated 2’’x 6’’ studs for R22 insulation (can be changed
to 2’’x 4’’, 2’’x 8’’ or 2’’x 10’’, just have to adjust the bottom and top plate measurements) - Walls are covered with 3/8’’ OSB, building paper (Tyvek), rainscreen and siding
- Ceiling/roof has calibrated 2’’x 8’’ joists for R28 insulation (can be changed to 2’’x 10’’), added strips on top of the joists to create the required minimum angle (can create a bigger angle but not less) and covered with 3/4’’ plywood
- Roof has underlay, flashing and peel and stick roofing (you can use materials of your choice)
- Material list included is divided to sections, allows you to only order materials needed
